Bridgeworks’ HEAT program is a core element of the Pathways to Success suite of employment and training programs. This project aims to build on the success of the previous HEAT programs and assist individuals to overcome vocational and non-vocational barriers to employment through the provision of a range of customised services that will be:

Services
Job preparation services include:
We offer a mix of accredited training that focuses on building the foundation skills of long term unemployed people; and aligns to local labour market needs and the skill needs of individual employers in the particularly in the health and community services sector. Some courses offer paid part or full time work placement in a not-for-profit community organisation, and six months post placement support. The program can include job placement where required.
The HEAT Program
If you are eligible for the HEAT program in Ipswich, you can complete one of these qualifications:
The HEAT program includes 13 weeks part-time work placement.
If you are eligible for the PPP program, you can complete one of these qualifications:
The PPP program includes 100 hours unpaid work placement. As part of your training, you will get to experience life on the job, using your new skills, with a 100hr work experience. This is where you get to see what it’s like to work in your chosen field, and get to know some employers and people in the industry.
